It was time to make it clear to them that they were no longer welcome and to put together a plan of attack. The plan called for daily strafings, with heavy bombing attacks on a regular basis. We decided to use the Intron squad as being the most experienced in dealing with the RNAs.
Last night, we engaged the enemy in our first major battle. It quickly became clear that this was a war that was not going to be won quickly or easily. They were heavily dug-in, well-armed and had good intelligence letting them know that an attack was coming.
By 3:00AM, the battle was on in earnest. It was a "chilling" experience that rattled the very foundations of the station. At dawn's first light, we could see the impact of our first attack -
